In their first Super Bowl appearance in 50 years, the Kansas City Chiefs overcame injuries, including to star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wide receiver Tyreek Hill, caught a lucky break thanks to a Patriots loss at the end of the season and overcame a record-setting playoff game point deficit.
